Storage Guide
Lyophilized (Unreconstituted) Peptides
| Ideal Storage | -20°C (freezer) |
| Acceptable Short-Term | 2-8°C (refrigerator) |
| Stability at -20°C | 24+ months |
| Light Exposure | Protect from light |
Reconstituted Peptides
| Required Storage | 2-8°C (refrigerator) |
| Recommended Use | Within 28 days |
| Freeze-Thaw Cycles | Avoid – causes degradation |
| Light Exposure | Keep in dark or amber vial |
Storage Tips
- Upon receipt: Transfer lyophilized peptides to freezer (-20°C) for long-term storage, or refrigerator if using within a few weeks.
- Before reconstituting: Allow vial to reach room temperature to prevent condensation inside the vial.
- After reconstituting: Return immediately to refrigerator. Do not leave at room temperature.
- Keep away from: Direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas with temperature fluctuations.
- Label your vials: Note the reconstitution date and concentration on each vial.
💡 Pro Tip
If you need to store reconstituted peptides longer than 28 days, consider reconstituting smaller amounts at a time. It's better to keep peptides lyophilized until needed rather than reconstituting a large batch.
